Tang Yin is wrongfully accused of divulging the answers to the imperial examination. Despite his innocence, he is imprisoned and his career comes to ruin.
He hides his ambition deeply in his heart and becomes a man who cares about nothing.
At the lowest ebb of his life, Tang Yin meets his true love, Jiu Niang.
They decide to live in seclusion at Peach Temple. Later, the Prince of Ning comes to Tang Yin. The Prince tries to use fame and wealth to tempt Tang Yin and join his troop in rebelling against the Emperor.
Tang Yin’s ambition ends here. Fate seems to taunt him once again.
His true love, Jiu Niang, dies not long after.
Finally, Tang Yin allows him to sink into the uncertainty of life and insipidly waits to drift into the other world.

“Han Xizai Evening Banquet”——Han Xizai was a talented government official, who was initially trusted and favored by Li Jing, the Intermediate King of Southern Tang Dynasty. After Li Yu, the Ultimate King, succeeded to the throne, Han Xizai, a top official disguised himselfas a blunderer who lived a corrupt life so that Ultimate King Li would not suspect that he was politically ambitious, so as to protect himself. However, Li Yu was still anxious so that he assigned Gu Hongzhong to visit Han Zaixi’s and find out the truth. He ordered Gu Hongzhong to draw down whatever he saw and submit to him for review. Obviously beingclearly aware of their visit intention, Han Zaixi deliberately gave a delightful performance in a manner of ignoring current affairs, indulging in dances and songs, and living an extremely intoxicated and befuddled life.
